sweet gift idea #3
Anyone on your gift list take a fun trip this year? Anyone excited about a trip that’s planned for next year? How ‘bout nieces or nephews? Colleagues? Friends? Godkids? Secret Santas? Secretaries?
If you can find a “yes” in there, then One Big Adventure is the perfect gift. Here are some ideas to jog your thoughtful gift-giving…
- a dream trip to Paris or Italy
- a week in Florida
- a fantastic cruise
- a post-graduation tromp through Europe
- Disney!
- Lake Michigan…Martha’s Vineyard…San Diego…Florida
- a service trip to South America or Africa
- exploring the Greek Islands or the San Juans or the Caribbean
- a Hawaiian honeymoon
- the road trip to end all road trips
- Vegas, baby, Vegas!
- Lake of the Ozarks
- wine tasting
- camping, skiing, fishing, or general adventuring…
Another idea (for families with kids) is to get a One Big Adventure for each child to “make their own book” and have “their own special keepsake” from an adventure that has already happened, or one that will happen this coming year.
Wrap the book, add a little note on the card that says “for all your photos from ……..(write in where they went or are planning to go)….” What a thoughtful gift! They’ll love it. It will have value well beyond the $12 you paid for it. That’s the beauty of a thoughtful gift—-it’s the thought that counts.
Happy gift-giving!
